About Pamela Clark - Cedar Park, TX Newborn, Family, Maternity & Couples Photographer

Hi there! I'm Pamela Clark, the face behind Perfectly Imperfect Photography, LLC in Cedar Park, Texas. As a mother of 5, step-mother of 2, and grandmother of soon-to-be 3, I understand the importance of capturing life's precious moments through my lens.

I spent years documenting my family through photographs. At first, it was a simple point-and-shoot 35mm camera. I had no idea what I was doing or how the photos would turn out. Then came the digital era, and having the ability to see the images and delete the bad ones really made me focus more on composition. I found that I loved capturing my children during activities - not so much while posing. The best photos captured those expressions they made while telling a story, laughing, or determined to achieve a goal. Sometimes, even a pout or cry was the perfect photograph.

Over the years, I have fallen in love with taking photographs of people. Whether it's an outdoor family photo session in Cedar Park, TX, or a baby's first birthday cake smash in my photography studio near Austin, TX, I enjoy photographing various life milestones. I am trained in newborn photography by several well-known newborn photographers. I have worked with many infants, children, pregnant couples, families, graduating seniors, engaged couples, and have photographed several weddings. People often ask what my favorite genre is to photograph, and I have to say it varies. I love creating maternity photos that pregnant couples will cherish forever. My newborn photo studio in the Cedar Park, Leander, and Austin, TX area allows me to create gorgeous newborn photo session setups that result in beautiful, creative, and timeless images. When I venture out to local area parks in central Texas to photograph the amazing families I meet, I strive to capture the moments as they unfold rather than capture a posed idea of what the moment should be. I want my clients to remember the day, the way it occurred, in all its perfectly imperfect beauty.

Recently, I finally took the leap from being a software developer to a full-time family, maternity, and newborn photographer in Round Rock, TX and the surrounding area, and opened my photography studio in Cedar Park, Texas.

I have attended workshops by Austin's own Jessica Doffing, who inspired me to pursue this journey full-time, and Ana Brandt, whose words and advice triggered me to make the leap. I have also assisted the wonderfully talented Jen Rizy of Hello Photography, a photographer and human that I admire in so many ways. My most recent workshops include The Baby Academy NYC 2023, and I was actively training to be an associate of Ana Brandt's Baby Team, in addition to the work I do in my Cedar Park photography studio.

I am always learning and growing, and eager to work with clients in the central Texas area who appreciate the perfectly imperfect beauty that is in all of us.
